Mario Balotelli has urged Liverpool to show the “right anger” at West Ham United on Saturday.

The Reds are aiming to get back to winning ways after a disappointing 1-0 loss to Aston Villa at Anfield last weekend.

Italy international Balotelli scored his first Liverpool goal in a 2-1 victory over Ludogorets in the Champions League mid-week.

And the 24-year-old, who moved to Liverpool in a £16m deal from AC Milan last month, issued a rallying cry ahead of the Upton Park clash.

“This is the right anger we must show every game! Come on today!” Balotelli posted on Instagram.

Earlier on Saturday, Liverpool legend John Aldridge urged manager Brendan Rodgers to start Raheem Sterling behind Balotelli at Upton Park.
