Olivier Giroud was pictured on crutches as Arsenal posed for a post-match photo with Hollywood star Samuel L Jackson.

The French striker has been ruled out of action until the new year after requiring surgery on a broken tibia bone last month.

Giroud was at the game on Saturday as Arsenal were held to a 2-2 draw by Manchester City in a thrilling encounter at Emirates Stadium.

And the forward joined Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and other members of the squad in posing for a picture with Jackson in the dressing room after the game.

Oxlade-Chamberlain posted the picture above on Instagram and wrote: “Good game today. Gutted we didn’t get the 3 points though. Nice to meet one of my acting idols as well after the game…. Mr Samuel L Jackson!”

Aaron Ramsey was also a happy man after meeting the Pulp Fiction star. The Wales midfielder posted his own snap and added: “Met two film icons after the game today, @samuelljackson and Alexander Skarsgård”
