David Ospina was the star attraction in Arsenal training on Wednesday as the Gunner signing looked to impress manager Arsenal Wenger.

The Colombia goalkeeper sealed a move to the north London side this summer after the 26-year-old impressed during the World Cup.

Wenger signed Ospina from Nice to provide Arsenal number one Wojciech Szczesny with competition after Lukasz Fabianski joined Swansea City.

Last week, the Poland international warned his new rival shot stopper that he won’t be friends with the South American as they battle for a starting spot.

“He is a nice guy. In a sporting sense, he is a suitable player at a suitable club. But it’s easier for me just in one aspect: I do not feel sorry for him. I do not think ‘he’s my friend’ as I thought about Fabian [Fabianski],” Szczesny told London Evening Standard.

Here is a selection of the best photos of Ospina as he bids to catch Wenger’s eye.
