Theo Walcott was all smiles as he chilled out with Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton ahead of Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Manchester City on Saturday.

The Gunners forward, who is continuing his recovery from a long-term knee injury, met the Mercedes driver at Emirates Stadium before Arsene Wenger’s side played out a thrilling draw in north London.

Hamilton watched on from the stands during the game, before Walcott posted the pictures above on Instagram and wrote: “With @lewishamilton at game today #twins #speedmatters”

Arsenal appeared to be heading to an all-important victory when goals from Jack Wilshere and Alexis Sanchez gave the Gunners a 2-1 lead after Sergio Aguero’s first-half opener.

But Martin Demichelis’s late header earned a point for Manuel Pellegrini’s defending champions.

The draw left Arsenal searching for their first Premier League victory since the opening day of the season, when they beat Crystal Palace 2-1 at Emirates Stadium.
