Radamel Falcao and Daley Blind were all smiles as they took part in Manchester United training on Thursday following their transfers to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils wrapped up late deals to bring the duo to the club as Louis van Gaal bolstered his options following his side’s stuttering start to the season.

Falcao and Blind took part in a training session at United’s Carrington base as the Red Devils prepare to welcome newly-promoted Queens Park Rangers to Old Trafford on Sunday.

Speaking at a news conference on Thursday, Van Gaal revealed his satisfaction at United’s summer transfer business.

He said: “We bought five players… one player, Falcao, is on loan and maybe we can buy him for next season.”

United are still looking for their first win under the Dutchman after he was appointed as David Moyes’ successor at Old Trafford.

Here are some of the best pictures from Thursday’s training session.
