Kevin Pietersen was a guest on the latest instalment of Sky One’s League Of Their Own, and the former England batsman is clearly enjoying Jamie Redknapp’s company as the pair travelled to Old Trafford.

The South African-born cricketer was part of Queens Park Rangers co-owner Amit Bhatia’s travelling party for the clash against Manchester United on Sunday, being joined by the former Liverpool midfielder.

Of course, Redknapp’s father, Harry, is currently in charge of the Hoops as the newly-promoted side look to spring a surprise and register their second victory of the Premier League season.

And Pietersen, who won three Ashes series, posted a picture of Sky Sports pundit Redknapp and Bhatia on a plane heading to Manchester.

“I’m a plastic Chelsea fan off to support my buddies (@amitbhatia100) team at Old Trafford…come on you Rrrrr’s!” Pietersen posted on Instagram.

On Friday, QPR manager Redknapp warned the west London side to expect a tough encounter with a new-look United side.

“They’ve bought a lot of top players in the transfer window. I’m sure we’ll see Untied challenging to get back into the Champions League places again,” Redknapp said of United.
