Their past may be littered with heated Premier League run-ins, but Jose Mourinho, Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson all lined up for the same team at the Uefa elite club coaches forum this week.
Former Manchester United boss Ferguson, 72, was all smiles as he took up his new role as an ambassador for the group.
The meeting took place at Uefa’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on Wednesday and Thursday, with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho also involved.
Among the other attendees were Andre Villas-Boas and Rafael Bentiez, Barcelona boss Luis Enrique, Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola and Uefa president Michel Platini.
The forum is billed by Uefa as an opportunity for top European club coaches to exchange views on the major issues affecting club competitions, as well as discuss and make proposals to the governing body that may be of overall benefit to the European game.
New Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal was not present at the forum.
