Arsenal are put through their paces in their final training session ahead of Saturday's clash with Tottenham

Mesut Ozil and Abou Diaby were all smiles as Arsenal geared up for their north London derby showdown with Tottenham on Saturday.

The Gunners head into the clash against their local rivals at Emirates Stadium looking to make it back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time this season after their 3-0 triumph at Aston Villa last weekend.

Midfielder Abou Diaby was involved in Friday’s training session at London Colney after the Frenchman made his first start in 18 months in the 2-1 League Cup loss to Southampton in midweek.

Arsene Wenger also has Mathieu Flamini available for selection again after he recovered from a dead leg, with Kieran Gibbs and Per Mertesacker also both available.

However, Nacho Monreal remains sidelined with a back problem, with Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and Mathieu Debuchy among the long-term absentees.

Arsenal won the same fixture last season 1-0 thanks to Giroud’s goal at Emirates Stadium.
