Radamel Falcao ‘very happy’ with Man United debut after QPR win
Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao takes to Instagram to thanks Red Devils supporters after making his debut
He may have started from the bench, but Radamel Falcao couldn’t hide his delight at his first Manchester United appearance on Sunday.
The Colombia international was a second-half substitute as the Red Devils were emphatic 4-0 winners against Queens Park Rangers at Old Trafford.
Falcao, who moved to the 20-time English champions on loan from Monaco, replaced Juan Mata in the 67th minute of the one-sided clash.
And the 28-year-old could have added a fifth if QPR goalkeeper Rob Green hadn’t been alert to produce a smart save to deny the South American.
Following the 4-0 rout, Falcao took to his Instagram to revel in his United debut after his deadline-day move earlier this month.
“Very happy to debut in Old Trafford and for all the support I received from the first day in @manchesterunited ,” Falcao posted on Instagram.
Falcao scored 11 goals in 20 Ligue 1 appearances for Monaco after moving to the Ligue 1 side from Atletico Madrid in 2013.
