Tottenham not good enough, admits Younes Kaboul
Younes Kaboul admits that Tottenham Hotspur were simply "not good enough" in defeat by West Brom
Younes Kaboul has admitted that Tottenham Hotspur were simply “not good enough” during Sunday’s surprise 1-0 defeat by West Bromwich Albion.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men slumped to their second league loss of the season as James Morrison netted a 74th-minute winner for the visitors at White Hart Lane.
We were just inviting them to try to score. It was not good enough from us
And Spurs captain Kaboul admits that the Lilywhites’ attacking play left a lot to be desired.
“We’re all disappointed, of course, after this poor defeat,” Kaboul told Spurs’ website.
“I think we played with a slow tempo all of the game and we never looked dangerous, a threat for West Brom.
“I am still questioning everything, what went wrong. We didn’t create any chances. We were just inviting them to try to score. It was not good enough from us.”
