Fredy Guarin is not interested in a move to Tottenham Hotspur in January, according to the Colombian’s agent.

The Inter Milan midfielder has regularly been touted with a potential switch to the Premier League in recent seasons amid reported interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.

Tottenham are the latest English club to be linked with the 28-year-old midfielder despite Mauricio Pochettino having the likes of Moussa Dembele, Nabil Bentaleb, Paulinho and Etienne Capoue at his disposal.

And Guarin’s agent Marcelo Ferreyra poured cold water on speculation linking the South American with a January switch to north London.

“Fredy is happy at Inter, always has been and will continue to be. We are absolutely not thinking about the transfer market,” Ferreyra told Calciomercato.com.

“Fredy has everything he wants at Inter and has no need to go elsewhere. From what I hear, the offers were received by Inter.

“[Inter coach] Walter Mazzarri will get the best out of him, just as he did last year.”

Guarin has three years remaining on his current Tottenham deal after moving to Inter from Porto in a permanent deal in 2013.
