He may have only been at the club for just over a month, but Mario Balotelli has once again underlined his love for Liverpool.

The Italy striker posted a video of himself on Instagram inhaling helium, before chanting “Liverpool, Liverpool, Liverpool.”

He wrote: “And for all the supporters and for my fans and for my followers on Instagram I say tomorrow:- LIVERPOOL LIVERPOOL LIVERPOOL!!!! #eliovoice lol.”

The forward is gearing up for his first taste of the Merseyside derby at Anfield when Everton take on the Reds on Saturday lunchtime.

Balotelli, who joined Liverpool from AC Milan in the summer, has so far scored one goal for Brendan Rodgers’ side.

The video, which was posted on Friday evening, came after he showed off a new intricate haircut ahead of Saturday’s derby.

The controversial striker posted the picture below of his new trim from four different angles ahead of the weekend’s showdown.
