Arsene Wenger has dismissed the prospect of Tottenham Hotspur sharing Emirates Stadium with Arsenal.

Spurs are set to face a season away from White Hart Lane after it emerged that the north London club’s plans for a new stadium have been delayed.

I must say I have bigger problems to sort out than that

But although the Arsenal boss joked that a ground share between the local rivals could be a “solution”, Wenger said it was an unlikely scenario.

Geographically it’s a solution but you understand as well that it’s a very sensitive subject. I don’t think that will happen.

“At the moment I must say I have bigger problems to sort out than that. We have not been questioned about it.”

The Olympic Stadium and Wembley have also been touted as possible destinations for Spurs during the construction of their new ground.
