Paul Merson has warned Burnley that Arsenal are waiting to rip someone up.

The Gunners have failed to secure back-to-back Premier League wins this season after failing to win four of their nine games.

Arsenal were 2-0 winners against Sunderland last weekend as £35m summer signing Alexis Sanchez scored either side of half-time.

And Gunners legend Merson reckons Sean Dyche’s Burnley side could be in for a tough afternoon at Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

“I think Arsenal are waiting to rip someone up,” Merson told Sky Sports.

“Theo Walcott is back and I think he will make a difference and I just don’t know when Burnley are going to win a game.

“If they don’t win here and they don’t win next week then the international break comes and they could be into December without winning a football match.

“For me, they are starting to hit a brick wall already. As for Arsenal, I can see them hitting five here…”

Arsenal have beaten Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Sunderland this season.
