Cesc Fabregas admits that he found training for Jose Mourinho “tough” at first – but insists he is now feeling comfortable at Chelsea.

The 27-year-old has made a flying start to his Chelsea career since his summer transfer to Stamford Bridge from Barcelona.

Fabregas has made 10 assists and scored two goals in 12 games for the Blues so far this season.

And although he concedes he took a bit of time to get used to Mourinho’s coaching approach, he now feels fully comfortable at the west London club.

“At the start I found it tough in training with a coach like Mourinho, who is a bit more imposing,” Fabregas told Champions magazine.

“‘Be well-positioned. Drop off. Support the players behind you, do not lose the ball’. [But now] I really like it.”
