Eden Hazard must score more goals for Chelsea and Belgium, according to his national manager.

The 23-year-old Blues forward scored twice as Chelsea were 6-0 winners against Maribor in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Hazard has netted four goals in 11 games in all competition this season, starring in a 2-0 win against Arsenal earlier this month.

And Belgium manager Wilmots wants to see Hazard improve his goal record for club and country as he continues to develop.

“Hazard is rising higher and higher,” Wilmots told Goal.com.

“He was at Lille for two years and was already one of the best players in France. He won the league and the cup – so he already had success.

“He started early, when he was only 17 years old. I already knew him back then. And now he is 23 and a top star at Chelsea. But he has to score more goals.

“That goes for Chelsea and the national team. Eden keeps marching on and what he has done is amazing, considering his age.”
