Daley Blind says that he is feeling at home in Manchester following his summer transfer to United.

The Netherlands international joined the Red Devils from Ajax over the summer and has already scored one goal in six Premier League games for his new club.

And Blind has revealed that the United fans’ reception since his arrival is part of the reason why he feels so comfortable at Old Trafford.

“I have run into some fans in the city and it’s been very nice,” Blind told United Review.

“Everybody in the city has been very kind and polite. It is not only at the club but also in Manchester when I meet people. I’m very happy and I am really enjoying it here.”

United take on local rivals Manchester City in the derby at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
