Jose Mourinho believes that he would have been punished with a stadium ban if he had pushed Arsene Wenger on the touchline.

The Arsenal manager escaped disciplinary action after he shoved the Chelsea boss on the sidelines during his side’s 2-0 loss to the Blues at Stamford Bridge earlier this month.

And the Portuguese coach has suggested that he would have been punished more heavily than his counterpart had the roles been reversed.

“I gave you my reaction after the match, saying nothing had happened,” Mourinho said on Friday. “The reaction from everyone else was saying nothing had happened.

“Am I surprised he wasn’t punished? I’m not surprised. I’m not surprised.”

When asked if he thought he would have been punished for pushing Wenger, Mourinho replied: “Charged? Charged? If it was me, it would have been a stadium ban!”
