Daley Sinkgraven insists that he knows nothing about Manchester United’s reported interest in signing him.

The 19-year-old winger has been touted as a target for the Red Devils in recent weeks as Louis van Gaal looks to bolster his squad during the January transfer window.

However, the player himself says that claims of United’s interest in bringing him to Old Trafford came as news to him.

“I’ve also read the reports. I can’t do that much about it because it’s new to me,” Sinkgraven told Algemeen Dagblad.

“My agent has said nothing about it. The only thing that he told me is if I do well then the clubs will naturally come.”

Sinkgraven has scored two goals in 10 league appearances for Heerenveen this season.
