Juan Mata says that he is enjoying getting to know a different part of England following his transfer to Manchester United in January.

The Spain international moved to the Old Trafford club from Chelsea in a £37m deal at the turn of the year after spending two-and-a-half seasons in London with the Blues.

But the 26-year-old insists that he is already feeling comfortable in his new surroundings.

“I just like everything about the lifestyle I have here. It’s very relaxing,” Mata told ManUtd.com.

“I have been to lots of different parts of the city and have also been to other places like Chester and the Lake District which were very nice.

“I’m enjoying finding out more about England because the north is different to the south.”
