He is known as one of the Premier League’s toughest defenders.

But Chelsea captain John Terry has proven himself to be susceptible to a prank after being woken by his kids in Halloween costumes on Friday morning.

The veteran centre-half was given a scare by his children dressed in skeleton costumes at 6:30 AM.

Terry later took to Instagram to post a picture of the duo and admit that he had been given a fright.

He posted the picture above, and wrote: “These two Rascals thought it was funny to scare Daddy this morning at 6.30am and it worked. #Halloween.”

Chelsea take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Saturday.
