Daniel Sturridge was all smiles as he posed for a picture with Liverpool’s Under-7s on Tuesday.

The striker, who is currently out injured with a calf strain, was joined by a raft of the Reds’ youngsters.

Sturridge posted the picture above on Instagram and wrote: “Sat with hopefully the future of LFC.

“One of these kids could be a star in the making. Liverpool U7s..

“All about enjoyment when your young and it should never change when your grown. Happiness is key!!!”

Sturridge has not featured for Liverpool since picking up a thigh injury while on international duty with England at the start of September.

The 25-year-old then suffered a calf problem in training just as he was due to make his return to competitive action.
