Chelsea striker Diego Costa is in action at Cobham as Blues gear up for QPR clash
Diego Costa took part in Chelsea training at their Cobham facility on Thursday ahead of the visit of Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
The Spain international missed the west London side’s games against Maribor, Manchester United and Shrewsbury Town due to a hamstring injury.
Costa, who returned from the international break nursing the problem, was admitted to hospital with a virus last week, too.
But the 25-year-old looked in good shape as the Premier League’s top goal-scorer trained in preparation for the west London derby.
Costa, who moved to Chelsea from Atletico Madrid in a £32m deal in the summer, has scored nine goals in seven Premier League games.
The Blues’s Instagram account posted a photo of Costa going through his paces as well as a shot of Brazil international Oscar.
Jose Mourinho’s side are four points clear at the top of the table ahead of second-placed Southampton.
But Chelsea will be wary of QPR after a shock 1-0 loss to Harry Redknapp’s men in their last Premier League meeting in January 2013.
