Micah Richards is enjoying life in Fiorentina with Juan Cuadrado
Manchester City supporters will be hoping Micah Richards has been telling Juan Cuadrado about Manchester’s plus points after the defender posted a photo with his new Fiorentina team-mates.
The England international completed a season-long loan move to la Viola in the summer transfer window after struggling to dislodge established City right-back Pablo Zabaleta last season.
Richards, who was once touted as a potential target for Arsenal and Liverpool, has made two appearances for Fiorentina, who are currently in ninth position in Serie A.
And it appears Colombia international Cuadrado, who was linked with Arsenal and Manchester United in the summer, has been helping the City defender settle in Florence.
On Wednesday morning, Richards took to Instagram to thank the highly-rated forward and Senegal international Khouma Babacar for taking time to make the England man feel at home in the Italian city.
“@khouma_el_babacar_officiel and @cuadrado11 helped me settle in well,” Richards posted.
Cuadrado was heavily linked with a switch to The Emirates after helping Colombia reach the World Cup quarter-finals, scoring one goal and making four assists.
The 26-year-old has scored one goal in five Serie A appearances this season.
