John Terry has taken to Instagram to admit his disappointment at Chelsea’s failure to beat Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Robin van Persie struck a last-minute equaliser to earn the Red Devils a point after Didier Drogba’s second-half goal looked to be sending the Blues to victory.

The draw still left Jose Mourinho’s men four points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

But Terry was clearly upset at what he believed were fouls committed by the home side during some of Chelsea’s set-pieces at Old Trafford, claiming he and Branislav Ivanovic were “double headlocked”.

Chelsea captain Terry posted the picture above on Instagram and wrote: “Great goal from @didierdrogba today, Frustrated not to come away with 3 points.

“Great performance and it shows how well we are playing when you come away from Old Trafford disappointed with 1 point.

“Thanks to all the travelling fans for your great support.”

Terry added: “#JTandIVAgotdoubleheadlockedfromeverycorner”
