Lukas Podolski has taken to Instagram to post a cryptic message on his Arsenal future.

The Gunners front man has played just 56 minutes of first-team football this season after making five substitute appearances for his club.

This has led to mounting talk of a possible move away from The Emirates in January, with the German forced to deny last week that he would be joining fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

The latest post on his Instagram feed, though, will only add to the speculation surrounding the Arsenal striker.

Alongside a photograph of him wearing a plain black Adidas t-shirt, Podolski wrote: “Keep cool and never lose sight of your goals. #stayfocused #believe #bestrong”

Podolski is highly regarded by Arsenal fans, and had the best goals-to-minutes ratio of any Gunners player in last season’s Premier League.

After his late winner in midweek against Anderlecht in the Champions League, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger emphasised that the German would be “important in the coming months”.

Wenger also acknowledged, however, that Podolski would be “frustrated” with his lack of opportunities.

With only 14 starts in the Premier League last year and none so far this, Podolski would surely be excused for looking towards the future, and were he to decide to leave, he would have no shortage of suitors.
