Daley Blind caught up with friends after helping Manchester United rescue a 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Sunday.

The former Ajax midfielder started the clash against the league leaders as he continues to become a key part of the new-look Red Devils side under Louis van Gaal.

His compatriot Robin van Persie scored a stoppage-time equaliser to cancel out Didier Drogba’s second-half opener in the enthralling clash at Old Trafford.

And Blind, who moved to United in a £16m deal from the Dutch champions on deadline day, took to Instagram to post a photo from dinner with friends.

Blind posted: “Good to have your friends around! #Friends”

Earlier on Monday, Blind’s team-mate David De Gea hailed United’s never-say-die attitude after their last-gasp leveller.

De Gea wrote on Instagram: “Thanks Old Trafford for always being there til the end. This team never gives up! @manchesterunited”
