Rodney Marsh believes Liverpool will sell Raheem Sterling in the next two years.

The 19-year-old forward has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid in recent weeks.

Liverpool are hoping to tie down the Reds winger to a new long-term deal after his eye-catching early-season form.

But former Manchester City forward Marsh reckons Sterling will leave the Reds as he continues to develop into a top player.

“I know I am going to get pelted by Liverpool supporters but I don’t see Raheem Sterling being a Liverpool player in the next two years,” Marsh told talkSPORT.

“I think he will leave Liverpool and go to a really top club. I think Sterling is so good, and if he is playing with the right players, at the right level, he could go on to be a top, super player.”

Sterling, who signed a new Liverpool deal in December 2012, socred nine goals in 33 Premier League appearances.
