Mattia Destro has hinted that he could leave Roma at the end of the season.

The Italy international has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League amid reported interest from Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

Destro has scored four goals in nine Serie A appearances this season, although the striker has racked up just five league starts.

And the 23-year-old forward is planning to prove his qualities on the pitch before assessing his future next summer.

“It’s right the coach does his evaluations, at the end of the season I’ll do mine,” Destro told Gazetta dello Sport.

“I can only do my talking on the pitch. Some people speak with their voice, I speak on the field.

“I try to score goals when I have the opportunity. [Should I be given] more opportunities by the coach? That’s up to the coach.

“I think with my head, I make decisions with my head. So we’ll see.”

Destro has scored one goal in seven appearances for Italy.
