Kieran Gibbs is an injury doubt for Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Burnley, Arsene Wenger has revealed.

The defender picked up a hip problem during last weekend’s 2-0 win at Sunderland and will be assessed on Friday ahead of Saturday’s game at Emirates Stadium.

Wenger said: “There are a few uncertainties, like Kieran Gibbs. It is a hip problem. He came off at Sunderland with 20 minutes to go. He is a doubt but we’ll know more tomorrow.

“Apart from that everyone should be available. [Jack] Wilshere is back from suspension. We have no other injuries and no one else coming back into the squad.”

Asked about the fitness of Yaya Sanogo, Serge Gnabry and Abou Diaby, Wenger replied: “He [Sanogo] is back available.

“[Gnabry and Diaby] are not quite ready yet. Gnabry is closer than Diaby fitness-wise. He is a couple of weeks away.”
