Kevin Campbell believes that Alexis Sanchez is forming a “formidable” partnership with Danny Welbeck at Arsenal.

Sanchez has been one of the Premier League’s star performers since arriving at Emirates Stadium in a £37m deal from Barcelona over the summer.

The Chilean took his top-flight tally for the season to seven with two goals against Burnley at the weekend.

And former Gunner Campbell feels that the 25-year-old has already forged an understanding with fellow summer signing Welbeck.

“Alexis Sanchez is very brave, he’s such a good player and a great finisher,” Campbell told talkSPORT.

“At Barcelona he was dwarfed by Lionel Messi, Neymar and those sorts of players.

“Now he’s coming in to his own at Arsenal. He and Welbeck are forming a formidable partnership at Arsenal.”

What do you think of Welbeck and Sanchez?
