The Gunners forward scored the north London side’s second goal as Arsenal were 2-0 winners against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday.
We’re capable of giving anyone a game
Sanchez has scored an impressive 11 goals in the Premier League and Champions League since his £35m move to Emirates Stadium from Barcelona in July.
And former Arsenal midfielder Parlour claimed that Sanchez is close to emulating what Suarez did for Liverpool last season.
“He’s as close to Suarez as I’ve seen both in goals and work rate. You can show him to kids as an example of how to play,” Parlour wrote on Sportlobster.com.
Arsenal booked their place in the Champions League knockout stage for the 15th consecutive season thanks to their win against Bundesliga outfit Dortmund.
And Parlour, who was part of Arsenal’s famous Invincibles side, reckons Arsene Wenger’s men are capable of matching any team if they perform.
“We could do with avoiding the big teams obviously but you’ve got to get up for every game,” Parlour added.
“We’ll need a bit of luck but every team needs that, I think we’re capable of giving anyone a game. The lads know what they’ve got to do.”
