Arsenal have been handed a boost in their January pursuit of Christoph Kramer after the World Cup winner expressed his desire for a move abroad.

The Gunners have been linked with a move for the 23-year-old as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his midfield options.

Now, the Borussia Monchengladbach man has admitted that he would be keen on securing a move away from the Bundesliga club should the opportunity arise.

“That [moving abroad] has always interested me. I would not be afraid,” Kramer told Hamburger Abendblatt.

“I want to find out what my limit is and I always strive for the very best.”

On a recent story linking him with Real Madrid, he added: “I wish I had cut out and hung that article on my wall. To be linked with Real Madrid is an enormous honour for me.”

Is Christoph Kramer what Arsenal need?
