Arsenal have been warned that they will have to bid big for Marcelo Brozovic if they want to sign the Dinamo Zagreb star.

The 21-year-old’s future has been the subject of speculation in recent months after impressing for Croatia at this summer’s World Cup in Brazil.

The north London club have been touted as a possible destination for the highly-rated midfielder.

But Dinamo Zagreb’s executive director Zdravko Mamic has warned any potential suitors that they will have to table a sizeable bid to tempt the club into selling.

“We have no offers,” he told sportski.net.

“If someone wants one of our key players, it can only be with a memorable bid, if they knock me off my feet [an offer too good to refuse].

“That is my principle. And the numbers appearing in the media do not interest us.”
