Mattia Destro is thrilled to with all the 'wonderful rumours' surrounding his future

Mattia Destro says he is thrilled to be linked with a January move to Arsenal.

The Italy international has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League amid reported interest from Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

Destro has scored four goals in nine Serie A appearances this season, although the striker has racked up just five league starts.

And the Roma striker, who has also been linked with Chelsea in the recent past, is hoping to work on his ability.

“They are wonderful rumours, I’m very pleased because it means that I’ve taken the right path [in my career],” Destro told Roma Radio.

“There are so many things that I can improve on. I must never stop and continue to learn new things.

“The coach encourages me a lot, and I try to show my skills on the pitch, as well as the confidence he has in me.”
