Jose Mourinho has denied “mickey mouse” claims that Petr Cech could be set to leave Chelsea to join Arsenal in the January transfer window.

The goalkeeper’s future at Stamford Bridge has been a source of speculation in recent weeks after being replaced by Thibaut Courtois as the west London club’s number one between the posts.

Both Arsenal and Liverpool have been touted as possible destinations for the Czech Republic shot-stopper in recent weeks.

However, Mourinho insists that the Blues have received no offers for the 32-year-old goalkeeper.

Asked about the rumours, Mourinho replied: “On which Mickey Mouse website? On which Mickey Mouse blog? Some websites don’t even know where they get their stories.

“I have zero proposals for Petr Cech. Petr has a contract for two more years, he’s a fantastic professional.

“Not once has he knocked on my door to inform me about his desire to accept some proposal.”

Where will Petr Cech be next season?
