Aaron Ramsey has hit back at his critics, insisting that he is not 100 per cent fit and vowing to improve his form for Arsenal.

The Wales international has come in for some criticism in recent weeks after failing to hit the same impressive form that earned him Arsenal’s player of the season award last term.

However, the 23-year-old midfielder insists that he has no doubt in his ability and says he needs a few more games to be completely fit again.

“I’m not worried. I know my qualities. I’ve had a few injuries this season and I’m just getting back,” said Ramsey, who has been sidelined with a hamstring injury for part of the season.

“To be honest, I’m still not 100 per cent physically there and it does take a bit out of me.

“It will take me a few more games to be back to my best and I’m not worried. Certain criticism from people is unfair.”
