Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez wins PFA fan player of the month award
Alexis Sanchez has impressed Premier League fans with his form for Arsenal this season
Alexis Sanchez has been named the PFA fan player of the month for October after a string of stellar displays for Arsenal.
The award, powered by 90min, comes following Sanchez’s impressive performances for the north London club during October as he scored three goals and made one assist.
Sanchez scored in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Hull at the start of the month, and provided the assist for Danny Welbeck’s stoppage-time equaliser.
The 25-year-old followed that up with both goals the following week as Arsenal beat Sunderland 2-0. He has continued his good form into the start of the November, too, scoring twice in Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Burnley last weekend.
Arsenal are currently fourth in the Premier League with 17 points from 10 games and travel to Swansea this weekend before a home game with Manchester United and a trip to West Bromwich Albion.
The PFA fan player of the month awards are designed to give a strong voice to the supporters who are the lifeblood of the game. The awards are endorsed by the players and supported by the clubs.
One lucky fan voter will be chosen to present Sanchez with the PFA fan player of the month award in person later this month.
The vote for the November PFA fan player of the month is now open across 90min web and mobile sites, go to www.90min.com to cast your vote.
