Arsene Wenger has moved to deny reports of a rift between Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez at Arsenal.

Reports in the Chilean media last month claimed that summer signing Sanchez was not settled at the north London club and had fallen out with several players, including Ozil.

However, the Arsenal boss has rejected claims that the pair have had a disagreement in an interview with BeIn Sports.

Wenger said: “I was not aware of the supposed problems between Ozil and Sanchez. For me, there is no problem.”

Sanchez has been one of the Premier League’s top performers since his transfer to Arsenal from Barcelona in the summer.

The 25-year-old has scored eight goals and made two assists in 10 Premier League games for Wenger’s men so far this season.
