Brian O’Driscoll takes to Twitter to wind up Ireland’s Ian Madigan

Brian O'Driscoll may be retired, but the Ireland legend still enjoys banter with his former team-mates

Former Ireland centre Brian O’Driscoll took a playful jibe at fly half Ian Madigan after the boys in green demolished Georgia at the Avila Stadium on Sunday.

Madigan kicked an impressive 19 points in Ireland’s 49-7 rout on Sunday, but the retired British and Irish Lion O’Driscoll made sure the Leinster player kept his feet on the ground by tweeting a picture of Madigan from Sunday’s match.

The picture appeared to show Madigan making a pass with a strained expression on his face, which O’Driscoll proceeded to caption.

Madigan responded with a YouTube clip of him providing the final pass for O’Driscoll to score against Munster.

Ireland’s all-time leading try scorer O’Driscoll could only reply ‘Touche’ as Madigan seemingly had the last laugh! Ireland face Australia next Saturday.
