Thierry Henry believes Chelsea are capable of emulating Arsenal’s ‘Invicibles’ side are finish the season unbeaten.

The Blues are heavily fancied to win the Premier League title after building a commanding lead over their chief rivals.

Irish bookmaker Paddy Power has already paid out on Jose Mourinho’s side lifting the English top-flight crown in May.

And Henry, who was part Arsenal’s title-winning side in 2003/04, reckons the west London side are capable of emulating Wenger’s best-ever Gunners outfit.

“I think they can [go unbeaten]. Like any team at the beginning of the season, they have to believe they can do it,” Henry told BBC Sport.

“When you win it does help. They are winning. So obviously you get more confidence and momentum, you basically think you can’t lose.”

However, the former Arsenal captain says the Gunners will always be able to bask in the glory of being the first team to complete an unbeaten season in the modern era.

“When you’re the first, you’re the first. Someone can do it better but you were the first to do it in the modern game.”

Do you agree with Thierry Henry?
