Petr Cech has insisted that his future remains in Chelsea’s hands.

The goalkeeper’s situation has been a source of speculation in recent months after being replaced by Thibaut Courtois as the Blues’ number one shot-stopper this season.

Cech has made just five appearances for Jose Mourinho’s men so far this term, leading to reports linking him with a transfer away from Stamford Bridge.

However, the 32-year-old – who has two years left on his contract – says that his future is up to the west London club.

“Regarding my future at Chelsea, it depends entirely on the club,” said Cech.

“Everyone is asking me what if and what will happen. As a player, who has two years left on his contract, I cannot make the choice.

“It is simple. If the club says, ‘You are staying here’, then I will be staying. That’s why I’m staying.”

Where will Petr Cech be next season?
