Frank Lebouef has backed Chelsea to win the Champions League and Premier League this season.

The Blues are six points clear of second-placed Southampton after the west London side extended their unbeaten run to 12 games thanks to a 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

And former Chelsea centre-half Lebouef reckons manager Jose Mourinho has built the “perfect” team, backing the Blues to have a fantastic season.

“They are very strong and they are getting very, very confident as well. It is going to be hard for any team to play against them,” Lebouef told talkSPORT.

“I really think that Chelsea are going to win the Premier League title but also I think they have a good chance of winning the Champions League as well. The team is perfect.

“Jose Mourinho said that he would need a year or two to build his own team and that is what he did. And it seems to be perfect so far. I think they are going to achieve a fantastic season.”
