Hugo Lloris says Tottenham Hotspur are good enough at the moment after Spurs lost 2-1 to Stoke City on Sunday.

The Potters surged into a commanding first-half lead thanks to goals from Bojan Krkic and Jonathan Walters at White Hart Lane.

Spurs did manage to halve the deficit through Nacer Chadli before defender Kyle Naughton was sent off with six minutes remaining.

And Tottenham goalkeeper Lloris demanded that the north London side keep working and improve after a disappointing start under Mauricio Pochettino.

“We need to keep working and improve as a team, and improve individually and show more, because at the moment it’s not good enough,” the French goalkeeper told Spurs TV.

“We didn’t play the game that we wanted, and especially when they scored the first goal we didn’t find any solution on the pitch. After that the consequence was the first goal.”

Tottenham are 12th in the Premier League table, four points behind fourth-placed West Ham United.
