Loic Remy is fit and ready for Chelsea’s trip to Liverpool on Saturday, Jose Mourinho has confirmed.

Enhanced odds: Liverpool or draw @ 5/1 or Chelsea @ 6/1!

The French striker has not featured since picking up a groin problem during the 6-0 win over Maribor at Stamford Bridge earlier this month.

However, the forward has returned to training and is available for the Blues’ clash with the Reds at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime.

“Remy is back in training. He’s an option as well. That’s good news,” said Mourinho.

Mourinho also confirmed that striker Diego Costa will start the game on Merseyside, despite being left out of the Spain squad for the forthcoming round of international fixtures.

“We think he is ready to start the match tomorrow,” said Mourinho of Costa. “In the 15 days [the international break] he can rest and work.

“It is fantastic news for us. I thank the Spain FA for the decision that they made.

“The plan is to have period of complete rest after the match for a few days, and after that to continue the specific work he is doing without having a match to play on the weekend.”

Will Liverpool beat Chelsea?
