Adam Lallana has lifted the lid on his trick shot which has prompted much debate on social media.

The England midfield maestro Lallana unleashed his inner assassin at a revolutionary photo-shoot to celebrate the launch of Assassin’s Creed Unity earlier this month.

The 26-year-old landed an amazing trick shot, but there were plenty of sceptics questioning the legitimacy of the former Southampton captain’s effot.

And Liverpool star Lallana, who was styled as French Assassin Arno Dorian in the clip, explained how he landed the brilliant trick shot.

“It was a good trick shot wasn’t it?” Lallana told BBC Sport’s Football Focus.

“One of the people involved asked me if I could chip the ball into his mate’s hood.

“Instead of kicking it directly into his hood I hit it off a couple of walls and it bounced into his hood.

“Perfect trick shot.”

Quizzed whether the video was a fake, Lallana replied: “I’ll just keep you guessing.”
