Man United’s Marcos Rojo delivers latest injury update
Manchester United centre-half Marcos Rojo says he will be sidelined for 'another three or four weeks'
Marcos Rojo has confirmed that he will be sidelined for “another three or four weeks”.
The Manchester United centre-half was carried off on a strether during the second half of a 1-0 loss to Manchester City at Etihad Stadium last month.
I will not be able to return to play for another three or four weeks
The 24-year-old suffered a dislocated shoulder, prompting fears that the Argentina international could be out of action for three months.
However, Rojo revealed that he hasn’t undergone an operation on the shoulder and added that he hopes to fit within the next month.
“The truth is I am very happy because I ended up not having surgery of the shoulder, but yes, I work hard to strengthen the affected area,” Rojo told Telam.
“For now I will not be able to return to play for another three or four weeks.”
Rojo has made seven Premier League appearances following the defender’s £16m move to United from Sporting Lisbon in the summer.
