Radamel Falcao has taken to Twitter to apparently deny claims that he has been struggling with a knee problem at Manchester United.

Reports in the British media on Monday claimed that the Colombia international has had to have his knee iced at the end of every training session.

However, the striker, who missed Saturday’s 1-0 win over Crystal Palace, looks to have denied the reports via a message on the social network.

Falcao tweeted: “One fool speculates. A few others lacking objectivity respond and millions believe lies.

“It is disastrous what a few fools can do.”

Falcao has scored one goal and made two assists in five Premier League games for Manchester United this season.

Where will Radamel Falcao be next season?
