Arsenal secured back-to-back Premier League victories for the first time this season with a 3-0 win over Burnley on Saturday.

After a goalless first half, Alexis Sanchez headed in brilliantly before fellow summer signing Calum Chambers turned home shortly after with his first goal for Arsenal.

Sanchez then made it 3-0 late on in north London when he fired in his second from Kieran Gibbs’ cross, taking his Premier League tally for the season to seven goals.

Saturday’s game inevitably prompted plenty of activity on Twitter, so here are some of our favourite updates.

Celebrity Arsenal fan Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) reacts to the opener in typical fashion: “BOOOOOOOOOM! 1-0. Pace, power, aggression, drive, desire… BRILLIANT > @Alexis_Sanchez”

England legend Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) is impressed by the Chile international’s goal: “Sanchez gave Arsenal the lead with a header that people known for their ability to score good headers would be proud of. Chambers adds 2nd.”

The man himself Alexis Sánchez (@Alexis_Sanchez) is thrilled: “Happy with the game and for my team mates. Thank you”

Injured Arsenal star Mesut Özil (@MesutOzil1088) is a happy man: “Congrats to the Gunners! three important points! #AFCvBFC #COYG”

And finally, midfielder Aaron Ramsey (@aaronramsey) was delighted to see Theo Walcott back in action after his substitute appearance: “Good win and performance, on another day we may have scored more. Big welcome back to @theowalcott, great to have you back mate!”
