Arsenal striker gears up for the visit of Anderlecht in Champions League
Lukas Podolski says he is feeling good ahead of Arsenal’s clash against Anderlecht at The Emirates.
The Germany international could be handed a rare starting place as the north London side look to cement their bid to qualify for the knockout stage.
Podolski scored the winner against the Belgian side in stoppage-time after coming on as a late substitute in the reverse fixture.
And the 29-year-old took to Instagram to give his followers an insight into Arsenal training ahead of The Emirates clash.
Podolski posted: “Early session preparing for the Champions League. Feeling good! #AFC #Training #ChampionsLeague #Poldi #aha”
A first goal in over a year from Kieran Gibbs and a late effort from Podolski earned Arsenal a 2-1 victory over the Belgian champions last month.
Arsene Wenger’s side are 23 home matches unbeaten in the Premier League, since a 3-1 loss to Aston Villa on the opening day of last season.
